HAN4440 P-51D Mustang Sport
Almost ready to fly, this P-51D Mustang with its striking high visibility
semi-scale WW2 markings
and colour scheme is perfect for the newer
pilot looking for a more attractive low-wing model or
for experienced
flyers looking for an attractive and economical sport model with
“warbird” looks.
In addition to its attractive looks the model features a generous wing
area and light wing loading
helping to generate more lift and reducing
the risk of tip stalling. Constructed from balsa wood
and lightweight
plywood the Mustang may be powered by either a glow engine or an electric
motor and the one-piece removable top canopy hatch makes access to
the radio and battery
bay simple and easy.
However you choose to power your Mustang the model has a very
forgiving flight performance
and can perform all of the typical
warbird manoeuvres with ease and for even more scale realism
optional
retracting landing gear will be available to further enhance the
Mustangs looks and
performance.
The P-51Mustang comes almost-ready-to-fly with pre-hinged control
surfaces with pre-installed
control horns. So there is no building
required, just a few simple assembly steps and the
illustrated
assembly manual guides you through each simple stage resulting
in a great looking
model that is perfect for weekend sport flying.
