HAN4520 Sundowner 36

The Sundowner 36 is the kind of model that looks fast even when it’s sitting on the runway thanks to
its fantastic “racer” styling! The streamlined cockpit blends into the fuselage right back to the tail fin
and the equally stylish pre-painted fibreglass engine cowling with fully faired side cheeks completely
enclose the engine/motor, further enhancing the racer look.

The racer looks are matched by racer performance; open the throttle and the Sundowner 36 can race
round the sky with consummate ease and thanks to its carbon reinforced wing there is little risk of
overstressing the model.

But this streamlined model is not all about speed, thanks to the mid-mounted position of the wing it
makes sport aerobatics equally exciting and when throttled back the Sundowner 36 is as easy to
fly as any sport aerobatic model. This is due in part to the overall lightness of the airframe and the
forgiving semi-symmetrical airfoil that makes it possible to explore the slower side of the flight
envelope free of any nasty tip-stall surprises.

The model can be powered with a variety of engines either glow (Evolution 36NT) or electric (E-flite
Power 25) and the kit contains all the necessary hardware for either version so it can be easily
converted to electric power for silent high speed fun should the builder wish. Access to the batteries
and servos installation is easy through the large removable top hatch and the model also features a
dynamic “racer” style UltraCote colour scheme with pre-painted landing gear and fibreglass wheel
spats.
