HAN4880 Hangar 9's Jackal 50 ARF
Hangar 9's Jackal 50 ARF is an exciting, strikingly good looking model
with real jet looks for modellers
who feel the "need for speed."
The plane's key feature is just that, the stunning speeds it attains
and the exceptional flying characteristics
that it maintains while getting
there.
This dynamic jet model is ideally powered by .52 - .60 size two-stroke
engine and for added performance
a tuned silencer pipe may also be used
for added convenience allowing for a wider range of engine
installations
if you want really serious performance.
The included assembly guide and comprehensive hardware pack make fitting
either power option easy.
The Jackal 50 comes with many included features that not only give the
model great looks but “clean-up”
the model in the air helping it to fly
smooth, crisp and above all, fast!
Some of the many features of the Jackal 50 include a beautiful balsa
and plywood fuselage with a pre-painted
top hatch, exhaust nozzle, built
up balsa-plywood wing and tail plane covered with matching red and
white
Ultracote, internal control linkages that add to the attractive looks
of the jet as well as allowing for
maximum performance, flaps for enhanced
take off’s and landings and a clear canopy with painted pilot
figure.
Gear doors enhance the overall look of the model whilst the high-visibility
colour scheme helps enormously
with orientation at high speed, and thanks
to the tricycle landing gear with steerable nose leg the jet can be
flown
comfortably from cut grass landing strips with ease.
For those that want the best in scale looks and performance the model
may also be fitted with optional r
etracting landing gear that has been
specially designed by Robart (HAN501 or HAN502 – sold separately)
for
the Jackal 50 providing a simple “drop in” installation.
For pilots looking for a fast performance-based model without the expense
of running a true turbine or
ducted fan model, the propeller driven Jackal
50 Sport is the perfect solution.
