A voltmeter that is capable of precision
testing of transmitter and receiver batteries. It can
also
be used for testing batteries under servo load for accurate
readings. Two scales; 4.8
or 9.6 volt, for use with both
transmitter and receiver packs.

The Double Vision is a 12Volt DC fast field charger
suitable for use with all major brands
of radio with the universal
receiver and transmitter (RX and TX) leads and plug supplied.
Featuring twin independent charge circuits the Double Vision
can simultaneously charge
both transmitter and receiver battery
packs. One circuit handles 9.6 volt transmitter packs and
the
other 4.8 volt four and 6.0volt five cell receiver packs. Ni-MH
cells can be charged too and
the microprocessor circuitry constantly
monitors charge and ensures an accurate peak cut
off every time,
swapping at that point from the 800mA charge to an 80mA trickle.
It takes around 45 minutes to full charge a 600 mAh pack, the
progress being graphically displayed
by two bar graphs on the
face of the charger. This is extremely useful as the information
displayed
can be used to determine the level of charge remaining
in a pack of cells as well as the rate of
progress of charging,
and how long before the process is complete.
The Double Vision can charge all brands of transmitters regardless
of the polarity of the
transmitter, or if it has a built-in diode.
Setting the polarity switch on the charger to STD allows
charging
of Futaba, Hitec, KO, Multiplex and other transmitters; the JR
position is used only
for JR transmitters. If the switch is accidentally
left in the wrong position and the charge button
is pressed nothing
will happen. The charger is equipped with a universal transmitter
plug and
if the transmitter you are charging is fitted with a
diode just hold the start button for ten seconds
and the normal
charge cycle will start, bypassing the diode.
Finally the Double Vision has the capability to peak detect fast
charge any single cell glow drivers
and is equipped with voltmeter
jacks so that transmitter and receiver voltage can also be
monitored.
Six foot input leads mean that operation can be moved away from
the battery source
and the charger is fully reverse-polarity
and fuse-protected.
- Automatic peak detection fully charges your batteries.
- Charges 9.6v and 4.8-6 v receiver Ni-cad and Nickel
Metal Hydride packs.
- Charges single cell glow plug drivers.
- Independent charge cycles for TX and RX can be started
separately or simultaneously.
- LED indicators allow you to monitor the battery
charge level at a glance
- Fuse and reverse-polarity protected
- Auto trickle charge mode, and an 800Mah charge rate.

A bolt-on power pack that converts the Power Pro
starter a cordless unit. Available with either a
1.3Ah gel cell
(HAN163) or with a 12volt ni-cad (HAN
164) the unit is designed specifically for to fit
the
mounting holes on the Power Pro starter and is not a universal
fit for other starters. It is available
just as a housing without
the battery (HAN 165) and replacement battery
packs are also
available; 1.3 Ah Gel cell (HAN167)
