The Extra
260 is the perfect model for IMAC or Freestyle aerobatics, with
a huge one hundred inch wingspan and light wing loading the model
flies as if on rails. Performing unsurpassed precision manouvers
such as snap rolls and axial rolls with ease and the extra strong
rudder authority provides extreme yaw with no need for mixing.
At low air speeds the exceptional aileron authority means that
the Extra 260 is capable of very fast rolls even in extreme 3D
high alpha attitudes. The model has been optimised for maximum
performance, accuracy and lightness as the airframe is constructed
from carefully selected laser-cut balsa and plywood. This is
then covered in Ultracote featuring Mike McConvilles signature
colour scheme. Other features include: top quality giant-scale
hardware, pre-assembled fuel tank, hinges and control horns pre-fitted
with sealed hinge lines, pre-painted fibreglass cowling, wheels
spats, and aluminium landing gear, and the tunnels for the MTW75
canister silencers are pre-fabricated for easy fitting.
The two-piece wing and tail plane combined with the removable rudder
makes for easy transport to the flying field. Power this model
with the Evolution 116GX2 or similar size petrol engine and you
