This
superb Cap 232 has been designed by 9 times Tournament of Champions
competitor Mike McConville. This giant-scale IMAC model is ideally
suited to unlimited aerobatic competition, with a 97inch wingspan
and 90 inch fuselage this huge model has all the features you
could want in a large-scale model. Thanks to its balsa and plywood
construction this plane is very lightweight and also features:
Ultracote covering, removable wing panels, removable tail-plane,
top quality “giant-scale” hardware from leading manufacturers,
and anodised aluminium wing and tail-plane tubes. All of the
wood parts have been carefully selected to provide a lightweight
airframe, and is jig built to ensure accuracy, essential for
precision aerobatics and the wing alignment. The pre-painted
fibreglass cowling, wheel spats, aluminium landing gear come
out of the box ready to mount, and the large removable top canopy
hatch provides instant access to the radio bay. The Cap can be
flown with a variety of larger petrol engines and the Evolution
58GX is an ideal choice, and for even more 3D performance a larger
engines up to 85cc may be used. |
