From commercial flight to Skydiving
to cross country flights the Cessna Skylane 182 has been among
the worlds most popular high performance single engine aircraft
for over fifty years since it was first introduced in 1956. The
182 was also produced under license by Reims in France as the
F182, and DINFIA in Argentina as the A-182. Cessna 182 production
ceased in 1985, however during 1994 Cessna announced plans to
return the 182 to production following the success of product
liability law reforms in the U.S.A, and of course by popular
demand from pilots looking for the relatively high performance
and luxury that the original 182 offered.
Hangar 9 with their strict quality control,
state of the art engineering, and painstaking attention
to detail, are proud to introduce one of the most beautiful
classics in the radio control industry. The Cessna Skylane
182 boasts stunning scale realism, featuring a level of
scale detail never before seen in an almost ready to fly
(ARF) model.
A scale cockpit, wing strut fairings, fibreglass
cowl, wheel spats and the distinctive corrugated control surfaces
with fully working flaps which allow for slower scale type landings.
A scale steerable nose wheel for impeccable ground handling;
these are just part of this deluxe package.
The wing is a two-piece plug in type which makes transport to
the flying field easier, but be prepared this model will draw
a crowd, and you are
bound to hear comments like, "Wow what a beautiful model"!
The Cessna Skylane 182 is a terrific introduction to the world
of giant scale modeling and it really is a model with a difference,
and that difference is quality! |
