Thanks to its large flat bottom
wing positive self-recovering flight characteristics allow the
novice pilot more time to react making the Alpha 40 is a great
choice for a first plane.
As an added bonus the Evolution Trainer Power System (TPS) complete
with three bladed propeller drops right in. The Alpha 40 can be
flight ready in less than a weekend. A few simple assembly steps
are all that’s required and each step is fully explained
in the photo illustrated assembly guide.
Construction is entirely from selected balsa wood and laser cut
plywood ensuring a very light airframe, and the generous wingspan
of sixty-three inches enables this model to fly quite slowly allowing
the novice pilot time to manoeuvre. The model is covered with UltraCote® in
a “high visibility” colour scheme that makes it easier
to see in the air, a great help when learning to fly. Finally the
rugged tricycle undercarriage not only ensures positive ground
handling but flexes enough to absorb shocks from any bumpy landings
that the novice pilot might perfom. |
