Let the show begin! With this awesome looking model from Hangar 9 that’s exactly what you can do -put on a show! Designed by top aerobatic Mike McConville, this is one model that has both astounding flight performance and striking good looks.
What makes this model so different to all the other models are the removable side force generators (SFGs). These are fitted to the wings and make extreme knife edge flight possible, giving extra rudder authority and control to perform a virtually limitless display of 3D and precision aerobatics.
To make transport easier, the S.F.G’s are removable, and replacement plugs simply slot into place should you wish to fly without them.
Also contributing to the ShowTime’s extraordinary performance is the lightweight laser cut balsa and plywood wood construction and pre-painted aluminium landing gear. Light, yet quite durable to provide plenty of strength in the event of a bumpy landing.
Finished in a show stopping colour scheme using Ultracote®, the ShowTime 50 not only looks good in the air, it looks good sitting on the ground, and to add to these great looks, it comes complete with a pre-painted fibreglass cowling, wheel spats, and tinted canopy together with all the hardware you need to finish the model,
Designed for a wide range of engines, the Evolution 52 two-stroke glow engine is an excellent choice, or with very minor conversion the model may be powered with an electric motor using the E-flite Power 60 Brushless outrunner
