Manufactured by Robart specifically for the Hangar 9 B25 Mitchell this top quality set of tricycle retracting landing gear contains everything you need to add the ultimate scale touch to your B25. The set features fully functioning sprung oleo legs, air tank, T-pieces, Quick connectors, fill valve and an adjustable air operating valve that allows the air flow to be set precisely for deploying or retracting the landing gear at scale speeds if required. Fitting the retracts could not be easier as they are a simple drop-in replacement for the standard fixed landing gear blocks that come with the model. These are removed and the retracts mount directly onto the built in landing gear rails in the engine nacelles and the forward fuselage. The nose leg is fully steerable and set at the correct angle to provide the characteristic B25 rake forward. A template is provided showing the areas of nacelle and front fuselage that need to be removed to allow the landing gear to operate smoothly.
