Alpha Sport 450 EFL2825 Anyone looking for a great trainer to learn to fly with without the additional task of having to learn all about glow engines need look no further. E-flite has the perfect model with this superb almost ready to fly all electric Alpha Sport 450 ARF. Designed after the highly successful Hangar 9 glow engine powered Alpha trainers the Alpha Sport has an impeccable pedigree. Powered with an E-flite Park 450 outrunner motor (not included in the ARF version) and equipped with a generous 1143mm (45 inch) wingspan and flat bottom section the model is able to fly quite slowly allowing novice pilots more time to react. This, together with a degree of positive self-recovering flight characteristics makes the Alpha Sport a great first model. Constructed entirely from selected balsa wood and laser cut plywood the lightweight airframe is then covered with Ultracote™ in a high visibility colour scheme making the model easier to see in the air, a great help when learning to fly. On the ground the rugged tricycle undercarriage not only ensures positive ground handling it flexes enough to absorb shocks from the inevitable bumpy landings that the novice pilot is sure to perform! The Alpha Sport features a bolt-on tail plane, a two piece bolt on wing and a large magnetic battery hatch, allowing quick and easy access to the flight battery between fights. It can be made flight ready in less than a weekend with a few simple assembly steps being all that’s required, and each step is fully explained in the photo illustrated assembly guide. The included comprehensive hardware pack includes everything needed for the basic completion of the model.
