EFL3005 Twist 3D 480 ARF 3D flying can be very exhilarating but the excitement does not get any better than when flying the Twist 3D 480. The entire airframe of the Twist 3D is constructed from selected balsa and plywood resulting in a lightweight durable model that is then covered with Ultracote with dynamic "Twist" graphics; with the underside of the wing and tail-plane covered in transparent film to show off the structure underneath. The aluminium landing gear is pre-painted to match the covering and the steerable tailwheel makes for easy ground handling. Thanks to the overall lightness of the airframe the model handles extremely well at lower airspeeds and the enlarged control surfaces provide crisp control allowing the model to perform 3D aerobatics with ease. This compact electric powered highly aerobatic model features a two-piece wing with a carbon wing tube; however once assembled the model may be left in one piece as the fuselage features two large magnetic hatches that allow full access to the flight battery and onboard electronics with no need to remove the wing. When it comes to power the Twist can be powered by an E-flite Park 450 with an 1800mAh-2100mAh 3S LiPo battery, or for even more performance and duration fit a Park480 brushless outrunner with a 2200mAh 3S 11.1volt 30C LiPo. A comprehensive hardware pack is included and apart from the motor, speed controller, battery and radio equipment there is nothing else to purchase. With a flight performance that can best be summed up as outrageous, and an ability to perform everything from harriers, flat-spins, hovers and more, the Twist 3D will deliver thrills aplenty! |
