EFLU1180 UMX Carbon Cub SS BNF

The UMX Carbon Cub SS is a modern, high-performance civilian scale airplane and the first 5-channel ultra micro sea plane and tow plane to be available from E-flite. Like the full-size Cub it's an immortal classic made more versatile than ever thanks to a high-output brushless power system and fully functioning flaps.

Not just another small indoor/outdoor model. Thanks to its onboard overhead tow release mechanism it's the perfect partner for some "aero towing" with the micro UMX ASK-21glider/ sailplane. If that is not enough, in addition the optional float sets will allow the model to take off and land on water. There are even pre-installed navigation lights on the wings and tail!

Equipped with AS3X technology, an automatic electronic enhancement system, the Carbon-Cub SS can perform super-smooth sport and mild aerobatic flight even outside in light winds! The incorporated AS3X is a specifically aircraft tuned version of the system essential to the control of Blade ultra micro flybarless helicopters. The system will invisibly correct turbulence, torque and tip stalls when encountered, and will deliver an ultra-smooth, locked-in feel that gives the pilot a sensation of precise control over a plane of much larger than micro dimensions.

Powered with a180-size 2500Kv brushless outrunner motor, the E-flite 2S 180mAh LiPo battery delivers outstanding power and duration for towing and water take offs, and the Ultra Micro AS3X RX/BL ESC unit is installed on one circuit board for optimal weight distribution and simplicity.

All that's needed to get this feature packed little model in the air is to simply bind the on board receiver to any suitable DSM2/DSMX transmitter; it's as simple as that!
