The Tribute 3D ARF was designed and developed
by top-level Unlimited Aerobatic ace George Hicks. An aerodynamicist
with two decades of R/C experience George developed the Tribute
using state of the art aerospace software and techniques
like C.A.D [Computer Aided Design] and C.F.D [Computational
Fluid Dynamics] to optimise the designs performance.
The concept of using thin flat foam with embedded composite
stiffeners is the best possible solution for strength, durability
and most importantly low Reynolds number aerodynamics.
This perfect torque-rolling “foamy” goes beyond
any profile plane you’ve even flown before. Flat turns,
high-alpha rolls, flips and even tight loops in the length
of it’s own fuselage are possible. Despite the use of
advanced technology this plane is also a perfect 3D trainer
for beginning aerobatic pilots.
This innovative lightweight design uses top-quality white foam
far ahead of what you could buy at a hardware shop. A complete
set of lightweight decals is included, as is a 370 motor, gearbox
and propeller, however for the very best in 3D performance
we wold advise you upgrading to E-Flite’s Park 370 brushless
motor and a 20-amp brushless ESC. |
