Foam never looked as good, as it
does with the E-Flite injection-moulded Cessna 182!
It’s not often you find a 4 channel modern-era general
aviation subject in the world of small electric flyers, let
alone an officially licensed one that looks this good. Believe
it or not, two hours is about all it takes to be flight ready
as most of the time consuming work has been done for you. The
fuselage has the scale decals pre-applied, the pushrods and
control horns are pre-installed, and the cowl and wheel spats
come pre-painted. The steer-able nose gear is pre installed
and the main gear with fitted wheel spats just slips snugly
into a slot in the fuselage.
The one-piece foam wing with the hinges, ailerons and control
horns pre-installed comes with great looking wing-struts (complete
with fairings) that simply snap into place. Other scale details
are the corrugated surfaces on the ailerons and elevator, a
Cessna trademark! All that is left for you to do is to install
your motor and servos in the pre-cut servo trays. The trays
in the wing have plastic covers which provides a quick, neat
installation that won’t spoil the scale good looks of
this smooth flying, sleek looking, scale electric model. |
