The E-flite Yak Byp 3D ARF is designed by four times Tournament of Champions winner, Quique Somenzini. This outstanding model features a rigid A-frame fuselage, and thanks to its biplane design, a substantially reduced wing loading, making it perfect for indoor and outdoor flying with outstanding slow speed manoeuvrability. The extra-rigid A-frame fuselage constructed from an improved laser-cut foam material practically eliminates flex, giving pilots a much more precise feel when flying high-energy 3D manoeuvres. All this plus the shorter wingspan allows for much crisper roll rates at all speeds. Here is a model that simply excels at 3D flying with almost no coupling, and the massive control surfaces allow the model to hover a lot easier than other models in this class.
The specially designed firewall motor mount accepts both outrunner and geared inrunner motors without requiring any major modifications, giving the user more motor choices and making it easier to experiment with different power set-ups to maximise performance. The Byp Yak comes fully painted in a dynamic high visibility colour scheme, a photo illustrated assembly guide and a complete hardware pack including push-pull hardware for the elevators.
