The Mini FuntanaX is an updated
version of the earlier Mini Funtana. It has been virtually
redesigned with many additional features that give it stunning
performance. New features include a twenty-six percent increase
in wing area to reduce overall wing loading, along with a
tapered thickness airfoil, large wing fillets, optional and
removable Side Force Generators (SFG) for superior knife-edge
flight, large control surfaces for improved aerodynamic performance
and superb all-round manoeuvrability.
The model is constructed entirely from laser cut balsa and
light plywood for an accurate lightweight airframe, and the
newly designed colour scheme using UltraCote covering with
its own unique graphics adds a dynamic look to the Mini FuntanaX
The tinted canopy, factory painted fibreglass cowling and wheel
spats, painted aluminium landing gear further enhances these
great looks. Thanks to the magnetic battery hatch, access to
the battery is both quick and easy with no need to remove the
wing to change batteries after each flight, and the motor bulkhead
is designed to accept a brushless outrunner motor without further
modification, E-flite’s Park 480 brushless outrunner
is an ideal choice.
The illustrated assembly guide and comprehensive hardware pack
means that basic assembly can be completed in about four hours,
so the model can be fully completed and ready to fly in just
a few evenings. |
