The
E-flite Pitts Model 12 15e biplane is a sport replica of
one of aviation’s hottest aerobatic machines. Designed
by world-class competition pilot Quique Somenzini, it offers
intermediate to expert pilots a 3D capable aerobatic model
that stands out from the rest.
The large wing area and light wing
loading of its biplane design gives forgiving flight
characteristics whilst the coupled ailerons on the
top and bottom wing ensure roll response is crisp
and precise. The Pitts may be powered with either
E-flite’s Power 15 or Power 25 brushless outrunner
motors depending on your skill level and the type
of performance you want, and thanks to the bolt on
firewall installation of either motor is quick and
easy.
Constructed from lightweight balsa and plywood
the model is covered in a stunning yellow, white and black
scale colour scheme using Ultracote® Additional features
include a steerable tail wheel, pre-painted fibreglass cowl
and wheel spats, quick and easy access to the flight battery
thanks to the magnetic battery hatch. E-flite’s step-by-step
assembly guide and the comprehensive hardware pack means
that the Pitts can be assembled and in the in the air in
no time at all.
This sunning biplane model makes a nice change of pace
from all the mono-plane models that abound and will deliver
