E-flite’s Piper Pawnee
is an almost ready to fly model that replicates the exact
scale outlines of the full size aircraft which are often
used as agricultural crop dusters due in part to their superb
handling and manoeuvrability.
It’s low wing and scale wing
tip design give the Piper Pawnee extraordinary slow
flight performance and this superb low speed handling
enables the plane to manoeuvre well, even in smaller
more confined flying sites.
The Pawnee is constructed from lightweight
balsa and plywood and is finished in a striking colour scheme
using UltraCote®, a pre-painted fibreglass cowl with
aluminium landing gear and scale wheels completing the package.
The flaps are come preinstalled, but are not cut out so the
modeller can choose to fly with or without them.
Designed to fly using either an E-flite Power
15 or 25 brushless outrunner motor together with a Li-Po
battery pack means there is more than sufficient performance.
There is no need to remove the wing between flights as access
to the flight battery is both quick and easy thanks to the
magnetic hatch. The comprehensive hardware pack and illustrated
assemble guide means this delightful semi-scale model can
be flight ready in no time at all.
