evenings, or days with nice gentle breezes, the “Plug and
Play” motor assisted Ascent 450 Glider.
The Ascent 450 comes almost ready to fly right out of the
box 95% pre-built with a 450 Brushless motor complete with
11x6 low-drag folding propeller, 9gram sub-micro servos and
22Amp brushless speed controller pre-installed, and requires
only your transmitter, receiver, battery and charger to complete
the package. The model features a lightweight painted fibreglass
“pod and boom” fuselage with high visibility transparent
Blue and White Ultracote covered wings and tail plane ensuring
that you wont loose sight of it in the sky, whilst also showing
off the internal construction of the wing.
Getting ready to fly could not be easier, just remove the
tinted canopy and install your receiver, charge your flight
battery pack, attach the tail plane and two-piece bolt-on
wing and your ready to go, its as simple as that.
Compact enough for any large park, the Ascent is a wonderful
model for experienced park or slow flyers that want to try
powered motor gliders, offering as it does very gentle flight
characteristics coupled with slow walking pace landing speeds.
