One motor good, two motors better! That’s just what the designers at E-flite thought when they set out to design their latest model in the Platinum series, the fantastic Deuces Wild. This twin motored model is a superb sport model with stunning looks and outstanding performance coupled with the ultimate in pre-fabrication and assembly ease with a host of factory installed features designed to get this model in the air with the minimum of hassle for the builder. These features include a bolt on tail assembly, three-piece bolt on wing, flaps and flight control surfaces pre-hinged and installed, fibreglass motor nacelles with adjustable motor mounts, pre-bent landing gear legs that use exactly the same mounts as the optional “Robart” retractable gear (EFL4565) making for an easy upgrade should the builder wish to fit these air-up-spring-down retracts at a later date.
The lightweight sturdy airframe is constructed entirely from balsa and plywood, covered in an amazing Ultracote colour scheme, and the optional cockpit upgrade kit containing dashboard instrumentation; seat and pilot bust (EFL4562) further enhances this great looking model.
The flight abilities of the Deuces Wild are everything a sport pilot could want, easy to fly, excellent high and low speed performance thanks to the carefully chosen wing section that utilizes two Selig airfoils giving the model very gentle stall characteristics.
Designed to fly using two E-flite Power 25 motors, the model may also be powered with the more powerful E-flite Power32 motors for even more performance and enhanced aerobatic performance. Thanks to the overall design and lightweight of the model the model will still be easy to fly even with one motor out, unlike many other twin motored models on the market.
