This fantastic electric warbird from E-flite,
is a pilot-friendly plane that looks great and goes together
fast. A highly detailed EPS-foam constructed fuselage and wings
give this model both strength and lightness, essential for
successful electric flight. The wing also has a carbon fibre
main spar for added strength. By keeping the overall weight
of the airframe down it allows for a host of scale detail to
be built into the model without sacrificing performance.
Scale details such as accurately etched panel lines, detailed
cockpit with pilot, canopy installation, moulded machine guns
on the wings, dummy radial engine and an authentic fully weathered
WWII colour scheme, which depicts an aircraft from the 325th
Fighter Group, the famous “Checkertail Clan”
The power plant for this great model includes an outrunner
stick mount 480 motor with nineteen-turn pinion gear, 0.5 module,
400 gearbox with fifty-six tooth 0.05 spur gear and a 10x8
electric propeller.
The assembly time for this model is about two to four hours
and to help, a fully detailed and illustrated assembly guide
is provided, which covers the radio installation and the different
motor combinations that you may use. Access to radio equipment
is easy because of the removable hatches and panels on the
fuselage and wings. This is a super detailed warbird that not
only looks great but also it goes together quickly, promising
exciting flying and sets a new standard for electric powered
warbirds. |
