E-flite have recreated all of the excitement and performance of the full-size Lockheed Martin F-16 with this almost ready to fly electric ducted fan version. Finished in the authentic colour scheme of the world famous United States Air Force display team, the “Thunderbirds”

This superb model is designed around the use of the preinstalled E-flite 400 ducted fan motor and matching fan unit to replicate the kind of performance and flight capabilities of the full-size F-16. The injection moulded foam model features moulded in scale details such as panel line and hatches, and with scale airflow ducting there is no need for “cheater holes” in the fuselage. Also featured are pre-hinged flight control surfaces, moulded servo pockets for easy servo mounting whilst the large easy access magnetic canopy hatch allows speedy access to the flight battery and radio equipment. In addition to these scale details and authentic colour scheme the F16 includes detailed missiles and missile racks.

Positive ground handling is assured thanks to the tricycle landing gear with steerable nose leg, and should you wish to enhance the scale looks of the model in the air the landing gear is easily removed allowing the model to be hand launched quite easily and the model is durable enough to “belly land” on the grass.

This highly pre-fabricated model features plug in wing panels and a screw-on tail-plane, pre-installed control horns on ailerons and elevators together with E-flite’s photo illustrated assembly guide making this one of the easiest jet models to get into the air, and just like the full-size F-16 this model really looks stunning in the air!
