Huey 'Hog' Body

EFLH1380 UH-1 Huey “Hog” Body for Blade CP helis

There are not many detailed scale bodies for a helicopter of this size
and those that are usually come as kits for the most part and have to
be assembled, painted and do not offer this level of detail. This superb
body kit will transform any E-flite Blade CP series helicopter into a
stunning scale reproduction of one of the most famous aircraft in U.S.
Army history.

Included with the painted body are decals, a direct drive tail motor,
black main and tail rotor blades, and detailed rockets and guns. This
kit even gives you the option of adding lights (sold separately) for the

Bell UH-1 Iroquois “Huey”

Probably the most easily recognised helicopter in the world, certainly the helicopter with the most easily recognised sound is the Bell UH1 (helicopter utility) helicopter introduced into US military service in 1959 and subsequently deployed extensively during the Vietnam War from 1963 to cessation. During that time it became known simply as the “Huey” however this was not the only nickname used, they were called “Slicks” due to the absence of weapons pods when used as troop transports or “Hogs” when used as gun ships equipped with rocket and grenade launchers and “Cobras” when equipped with heavy machine guns. There can be little doubt however that many a wounded soldier probably owes his life due to their use in the their most important role of all, that of being used for medical evacuation (medivac). In any event over 7000 “Hueys “ used in various roles were ultimately deployed in that conflict.
The last “Hueys” were produced in 1976 after a production run of over twenty-five years with more than 16,000 helicopters made in total.
