For pilots that may have severely damaged their P51D Mustang
Parkzone have come to the rescue with a bare airframe. It’s
prepainted in the striking “Ferocious Frankie” colour
scheme and has a mounted motor, gearbox prop shaft and propeller.
Pilots simply have to transfer their radio, electronic speed
control, servos, and battery and they can take to the air again
in no time at all. The all foam construction with a one-piece
wing is easy to install. The tail-plane just slots into the plastic
tail-plane mounts, and the wing simply bolts to the fuselage.
The aileron control wires, servo mount for the elevator servo,
motor and gearbox come ready fitted, leaving plenty of room for
the receiver/speed controller. There is ample room in the fuselage
to take Li-Po cells if you wish to convert to Li-Po or if using
the standard battery pack, it simply slots into the ready-formed
hatch in the fuselage.
The availability of this airframe is of course a real bonus for
flyers looking for a great flying model into which they may use their
own radio equipment, battery and servos too not just to salvage the
odd catastophic failure. |
