SUPER CUB LP HBZ7300

The Ready-to-Fly semi-scale electric powered Super Cub from Hobbyzone® is a simple one box purchase with everything needed for new comers and sport pilots alike to get flying right away with no additional purchases necessary.

The model is constructed from lightweight Z foam that gives the Cub incredible durability and its superb scale looks are enhanced with other features such as “X-Port” technology that enables the use of exciting add-on modules such as the Aerial Drop Module allowing parachutes to be dropped easily. Built-in float mounts for mounting optional floats (HBZ7390) enable the model to take off and land on water and switchable Anti Crash Technology (ACT) eases the path when learning to fly.

So how does the ACT work? Well quite simply the Cub has two ACT sensors mounted on the top and bottom of the fuselage that constantly monitor the position of the plane in relation to the ground. If it looks to be entering a steep dive or possible crash situation it will automatically correct

the model’s position allowing the pilot time to regain control. As more flying experience is gained the ACT feature may be switched off from the transmitter allowing for increased manoeuvrability.

Equipped with a powerful 480 brushed motor and a 3S 11.1V 1300 Li- Po flight battery the Cub has superb performance and duration to match its great looks and it comes complete with everything needed to get into the air in as little time as possible without the need for additional building, gluing or painting.

Thanks to the extensive amount of pre-fabrication speedy assembly of less than one hour is possible and it only requires that the one-piece wing, tail plane, elevator pushrod and landing gear are attached, the VCD and fully detailed instruction manual show exactly how this should be done, and if you do this while the battery is on charge, the Cub can be flight ready in about ninety minutes.

HBZ7380 Super Cub Bind-N-Fly

The HobbyZone® Super Cub Bind-N-Fly version gives first-time pilots the benefit of HobbyZone’s Anti-Crash Technology plus the flexibility of starting with a Spektrum DSM2 2.4GHz full range aircraft radio (sold separately).

With a Spektrum radio, you can teach yourself to fly or “buddy box” with an instructor. And whatever Spektrum radio you choose will grow with you as you progress to other aircraft. With the Super Cub you can teach yourself to fly by mastering the basics of throttle, steering and pitch control with the assistance of HobbyZone’s exclusive Anti-Crash Technology (ACT™). ACT ensures your first flights are smooth and stable by using special optical sensors and software that analyse your flight path. If ACT “sees” you are losing control and entering a steep dive, it reacts quickly to help prevent a crash by actually helping you regain control.

After you’ve mastered the basics, you can turn Anti-Crash Technology off with the flip of a transmitter switch. With ACT off, your Super Cub will be capable of more advanced manoeuvres such as steep turns, loops and tail slides.

Everything you need to get flying, except a transmitter, is included in this box and you can be up and flying in as little time as it takes to charge the battery pack and bind the transmitter.
