  MINI SUPER CUB
HobbyZone’s Mini Super Cub is designed from the ground up with the beginner in mind, making it safe, simple and fun for almost anyone to learn the basics of radio control flying. With fully proportional control of the throttle, rudder and elevator controls combined with the unique Anti-Crash Technology and semi-scale design, the Mini Cub is an ideal choice for new pilots wanting to learn to fly with a compact, quiet electric model. Everything you need to get flying with the minimum of fuss is right here in the box with no additional purchases necessary. Equipped with the safety and security of HobbyZone’s exclusive Anti-Crash Technology (ACT), the Mini Super Cub’s position in the sky relative to the ground is constantly monitored utilising optical sensors and software that constantly monitor attitude, and if model should enter a dangerous dive, the software reacts quickly to help prevent a crash while allowing the pilot time to react and regain control of the model.
This unique ACT technology is switchable from the transmitter and the model may be flown with the ACT engaged or disengaged. When it’s on, the on-board computer automatically analyses the Mini Super Cub’s flight path to keep it from experiencing precarious dives and after mastering the basics with ACT on the pilot simply presses the control stick on the transmitter (even while in flight) to turn it off.
When it’s disengaged, the plane is capable of more advanced manoeuvres, like loops, rolls and spins making this semi-scale model even more enjoyable to fly. This delightful model can be flight ready in less than one hour and comes complete with a “Learn to Fly” DVD with assembly instructions and flying tips to make sure that getting started is easy.

ACT actually analyses the way the plane is flying and ensures it doesn’t fall into a dangerous dive. Two sensors monitor the attitude of the plane in relation to the ground, when its flying level the top sensor sees the sky and the bottom the ground. Together they tell the computer the plane is flying correctly. If it enters a threatening dive, and the top sensor detects ground instead of sky the computer will correct the control input and back off the throttle to help regain control. Once the pilot has gained experience ACT can be switched off.
