The new Aerobird Swift is the first
pod and boom type model to come fully equipped with ailerons in
the wing for greater control and better lateral response. This
means that the Swift has superb manoeuvrability using throttle,
elevator and aileron control; the same system of control as used
with other more conventional models.
The redesigned fully proportional FM radio system has two flight
modes. High and low rates are selectable from the transmitter,
low providing less experienced pilots with slow and smooth operation
of the control surfaces whereas high utilises maximum movement
and speed enabling Swift more extreme manoeuvrability and aerobatic
capabilities. The new architecture of the Swift’s radio system
means that it is removable and so can be used in other models.
X-Port is also available so you can use all the exciting plug
in accessories such as the Sonic Combat and Aerial Drop Modules.
The Swift features a shoulder wing layout with a swept back two-piece
plug in wing and comes with two lightweight aileron servos pre-installed.
A powerful 480 motor provides excellent performance and a great
rate of climb and the durable foam and plastic components used
for construction maximise aerobatic performance while minimising
overall weight. This together with the soft rubber nose will offer
a degree of protection in the event of a bumpy landing.
Semi flexible wire landing gear enables the Swift to take off and
land on concrete, tarmac, or short grass and with it’s advanced
control system this really is one of the best ARTF models of it’s
type!
As with all of the Hobbyzone planes everything needed for flight
is include in the box so absolutely no additional purchases are

With X-port the flying experience is taken
one step further with the addition of combat and aerial drop
capabilities with plug-and-play accessories like the Sonic
Combat Module and Aerial Drop Module. With the Aerial Drop
Module bombs and parachutes can be released at the press
of a button and if more than one plane can be airborne the
addition of a combat module on each means the pilots can
indulge themselves in the ancient art of aerial combat. The
making of a Hobbyzone Ace! |

| Offers two ways to fly;
either Sport Mode which combines Flight-Trak and pitch
control, or Pro Mode, which uses standard V-tail mixing
for maximum manoeuvrability. |
|
|
 |
| Adding a third channel for
pitch (elevator) control adds greater manoeuvrability
and allows pilots to perform aerobatics. |
