Flight Log was a device originally used by the Spektrum
development engineers during system testing. They realised
however what an asset the information that it was giving
them could be to modellers, and so now it has been released
as an accessory.
It gives a clear read-out of data collected during flight
and with some of the more demanding and performance oriented
models available today can be an invaluable asset ensuring
confidence that the radio system is working correctly and
that installation of the receivers is delivering optimum
performance.
Flight Log records the number of fades experienced by
each individual receiver during the flight as well as any
system frame losses or failsafes (holds). In addition it
allows you to view the real time voltage being supplied
by the on board batteries to the receiver to ensure that
levels are adequate before taking off again.
Flight log can be installed permanently into the planes
fuselage and plugged into the receivers data port at all
times, or can be just plugged in to view data once the
plane has landed and the flight is over.
