A recent addition to the Flightline range is the high quality air retract systems, in either tri-cycle, or mains only sets for model aircraft weighing up to 25lbs. Each retract is manufactured from the finest materials, featuring heavy duty one-piece anodised aluminium side frames for rigidity, aicraft grade aluminium trunnion blocks that are machined to take oleo legs up to ½ inch diameter, smaller diameter legs may be used with sleeves. Sturdy ½ inch air cylinders ensure smooth operation though out, providing positive up, and down locking. Smaller sets are available to fit 60 size models weighing up to 12 lbs, these feature air-up spring down operation with glass filled nylon trunnion blocks machined to take wire gear legs.

In addition to the retract sets there is a complete line of support equipment featuring, air reservoir tanks, airline tubing, quick disconnectors, aluminium or plastic T pieces, air control valves, including a five port, variable rate, control valve that may be used to sequence the speed of retraction, or operate landing gear doors.

A variable rate control valve that allows users to adjust the airflow to each retract giving a scale appearance to models with one leg retracting slightly slower than the other, or adjust the legs to retract more slowly.

Standard two way retract valve for use with micro-bore airline tubing, constructed from machined aluminium, this valve provides non adjustable airflow to actuate the retracts up or down.

High quality aluminium 4-way connector machined barbs for use with micro-bore airline to securely hold the airlines in place providing leak proof operation.

An airtight coupler used in retract systems where the model features a removable wing, made in two parts, a male and female, they simply connect to the respective air lines, and with a simple half turn, they locked in place providing an airtight seal.

Two distinct types of high-pressure airline for use with air operated retract systems. High quality flexible 1.5mm internal diameter micro-bore tubing for use with air operated retract systems using standard connections, and a larger 2.0mm internal diameter tubing for use with “Festo” quick connectors, both tubing is designed to operate up to 100 PSI.

Lightweight aluminium air tank reservoirs for use with air operated retract systems, each tank is pressure tested, and designed to operate at up to 100 PSI, and available in three sizes, small, medium, and large to suit most common systems.
