58GX2 (3.6) Petrol Engine without Muffler

Manual

Overview
The Evolution 58GX2 is the most powerful engine in its class with superior porting and an advanced electronic ignition system unique to Evolution. Each system is easy to start, with automatically controlled timing advance for maximum performance and two fail-safe features, an auto-cut-off after ninety seconds of inactivity, and a low battery engine rev limiter which reduces the engine rpm by 3000rpm, this provides an audible warning that it is time to land and recharge the ignition battery pack. The rear mounted Walbro carburettor allows a direct throttle linkage to be used, and the anodised multi-bolt prop hub provides a safe and secure mounting for the large propellers that this powerful engine is capable of turning. A deeply finned front crankcase reduces weight, and substantial ball bearings support the crankshaft, which reduces the risk of crankshaft flex and aids smooth running, deeply finned cylinder head fins allow for maximum airflow and cooling. Anodised aluminium rear beam mounts allow the engine to be mounted easily and positioned through 360 degrees. The engine is designed to run on a petrol oil mix at a ratio of 1-30 during running-in, and a bottle of running-in oil is supplied, this mix may be altered to 1-40 after running-in is completed. The ignition unit comes with a shielded spark plug lead, cap, mini spark plug and plug spanner, and operates on a 4.8 to 6Volt battery pack
