Without a doubt the most important model aviation
site on the Internet, the British Model Flying Association (BMFA)
site contains a wealth of invaluable information for newcomers and
established members alike.
The BMFA is the body delegated by the Royal Aero Club to be responsible
for, and represent all aspects of model flying at both local, and national
level, working closely with the Civil Aviation Authority and other
government departments. International recognition is through the Federation
Aeronautique Internationale (FAI)
Third party liability insurance up to five million pounds is provided
for members, and the BMFA represents and protects the interests of
some 36.000 members, and 780 model flying clubs, and also provides
information on important issues such as safety guidelines, relevant
codes of practice, insurance and comprehensive advice on all aspects
of model flying.
Do you want to find a model-flying club in your area? Want to know
what events are taking place nationally or locally? Do you want to
