My oh my didn’t 2009 go by quickly, it seems only yesterday that
we were getting ready for our first show, the Model
Engineering Show
at Alexandra Palace, North London.
And now here we are again, January 2010 planning our next visit
to the “Ally Pally”.
There is no doubt about it flying models is fantastic hobby and
for those of us that take part in or just go along to watch
the numerous
model shows through out the year are a great way to see new products,
grab a bargain, meet up with old
friends and despite the often unkind
weather have a great time.
Horizon Hobby UK will be attending many of the major flying shows
though out 2010 so look out for our mini display marquee
on the flight
line, this is usually manned by John Norris and its well worth a
visit.
Here you will see all of the latest products from Hobbyzone, Parkzone,
E-flite, Spektrum and Hangar9, in addition to the
models on static
display Perry Lambert and Darren Goule usually joined by other top
display pilots can be seen putting
many of these models through their
paces on the flight line.
Without giving any secrets away I can say that for 2010 we have
some exciting new models arriving both electric powered
and engine
powered, so if your attending a show please stop by and have a browse
and a chat, we will be more than happy
to see you and answer any
questions that you may have about our products.
Below is a preliminary list of shows and fly-ins that we hope to
attend, please check this page for any major updates and show
reports.
