Well this years Wings and Wheels marked the 26th anniversary of this long running show and as usual what a show it was!
Despite the doubts about the weather the show went off by and large without a hitch and thanks to the expansive hard areas that make up the north end of this famous World War Two airfield both modellers and public alike were able to wander at ease.
A little windier than some previous years perhaps but this did not put off the r/c pilots from putting on some fantastic displays through out the weekend and of course there were many other attractions both under cover and outdoors to keep visitors entertained along with plenty of bargains to be had by the many eager shoppers browsing the traders row! |
As usual Horizon Hobby was on site with their "Little Blue Tent" but this year it was not blue! Damaged beyond repair at a previous show it was replaced with a white tent but none the less it still displayed the latest products from HHUK and the guys were kept busy all weekend answering enquiries from the public and modellers alike and rumour has it our new "Little Blue Tent" will be back bigger and better soon! Don't forget to stop by and say hello!
So here is a brief pictorial overview of some of the models at this years show. |
