The SHO Peak batteries don’t have the most run-time or the most power but they will have the longest life of just about any battery on the market today.
The self-discharge characteristics found in some of the high-end batteries reduces the life of the cells dramatically, but the new SHO cell does not share this problem.
The SHO is designed on a totally different cell construction and has been labelled especially for Peak. They offer good voltage, good run time and fantastic stability in use and storage.
These have already been tested by team drivers all over the country and found to be ideal for off-road, Touring car and 1/12th scale 19 turn.
As the cells construction is not as dense as some of the unstable cells on the market they do have the advantage of being lighter and smaller. This will help to correct the weight distribution on most touring cars and improve the cornering speeds of the lighter 1/12th scale and even the 19 turn touring cars.
They are BRCA Legal for 2008 and have already been used to win the Snowbird nationals in America.

Pull starts can be nasty things! Trying to start a cold engine with these can be frustrating and painful…….their use tends to result in blistered hands, four letter words a-plenty and if your not careful you can end up punching yourself on the nose when the cord finally gives up the ghost! Ideally all models would come with electric start systems, but with some models it can be impossible to gain entry for an electric start system, the manifold and pipe just seem to get in the way no matter what angle of attack you take! Thanks to the new rotating rotostart backplates, the LRP range of engine’s now have the option of electric start in just about any chassis! With the drive cup mounted high up in one corner, the backplate can be fitted in four different orientations to accommodate even the trickiest of installations. The robust twin hardened steel drive gears are driven by the similarly strong drive cup that accepts the popular dog-bone type electric drive system. Available to fit the Z.15, Z.21 and Z.28R engines these can be fitted in minutes and make starting an absolute doddle!

X11 Cooling Front Cover
Also new for the LRP X11 brushless range of motors is this machined front cover. As we all know, high performance equipment usually means that things are going to get a bit on the warm side. Anything you can do to keep your electrics cool has to be a good thing! With this in mind LRP have released this direct replacement for the standard front mounting plate. With three precision milled slots allowing increased airflow through the motor, fitting the plate will help keep the operating temperature of the motor as low as possible, aiding performance and reliability.

Meant for the 420 series wheels found on the Losi LST2 and Muggy, both are based upon full sized dune buggy and Icelandic hill climber rubber and have been specifically designed to shift and dig into large amounts of loose debris. The Losi Sand Razor has twenty-four low profile blades to claw your truck forwards with large contact patches Designed for use at the front in conjunction with the Sand Wedge at the rear they have a central radial rib for added stability and sharper direction change. The Sand Wedge is moulded from the same tough, long-wearing rubber compound as the Razor, but has been brought about with only one thing in mind…….maximum purchase and traction on unstable surfaces. Effectively fitted with sixteen large rubber scoops to bite into loose surfaces, this tyre finds grip where all others would struggle!
Designed for use at the rear in conjunction with the Sand Razor at the front, they can also be used to good affect all round, especially for rock climbing applications!
