With 3
drivers still able to take the overall championship win
the last round of the UK BRCA Truggy nationals was sure
to see some excellent competition. As with quite a few
events this year it was raining and the track increadibly
slippery, resulting in the need for a good well balanced
set-up. After his dissapointment at the last championship
round at Doncaster Darren Bloomfield set about the championship
title race by winning all 3 rounds of qualification closely
followed by fellow team mate Simon Willets. Not only
securing the top spot but Losi cars occupied 6 of the
A final positions.
In the main final Darren tried to pull away but made some
mistakes allowing Simon into the lead. The two Losi drivers
were then close for around 5 minutes until Darren could
finally take advantage of a break and secure the overall
win for the day and the BRCA championship. Darren used
Losi 8ight T, Losi Nitrotane, Spektrum, Panther Tyres,
Novarossi NPLUS215K, Novarossi 2005 pipe
