For too long now the entry into the world of monster
trucks has had a limited choice of paths for the newcomer.
They want a truck with looks and performs to the maximum,
but at the same time they need a truck that is easy to
use, maintain and most importantly is durable with excellent
option parts and support.
Team Losi have filled this gap in the market with the most
powerful entry-level ready to run monster truck ever offered,
the Aftershock!
Based on the award winning Team Losi LST, the Aftershock
comes fully assembled complete with a big block M26SS pull
start engine, computer radio and a custom paint job on
the classic pickup style body shell straight from the box!
A central two-speed gearbox with steel internal gears drives
a centrifugal clutch, giving the transmission a lower ratio
when pulling away and providing exhilarating acceleration
from a standing start. As the speed builds a second gear
engages automatically, raising the gearing for those high
speed passes! |

Hardened steel disc brakes, constant velocity drive
shafts and differential gears are used throughout the
truck for maximum reliability. The tuneable differentials
are housed in alloy cases front and rear to hold the
gears in precise mesh at all times.
The trademark ‘Mega Shocks’ adorn each corner,
making sure that the proven LST double wishbone suspension
is put to good use soaking up all obstacles put in its
path. Each has a threaded adjuster for quick and easy ride
height changes and measures nearly an inch in diameter,
making them the biggest monster truck shocks on the market!
The size of the oil reservoir gives a super smooth action
and also stops the need to run unreliable and heavy multi-shock
set ups like other trucks on the market.
The last link in the chain is the massive chrome ‘Magneto’ wheels
with high profile ‘Claw’ tyres. A large open-block
tread pattern gives the Aftershock the teeth it needs to
pull over rocky surfaces while remaining sure-footed at
speed on the flat stuff!
As you progress you may want to modify and upgrade your
Aftershock with the vast array of option parts that are
available for the LST range. Carbon fibre chassis plates,
coloured alloy shock bodies, spring and sway bar sets,
tuned exhaust pipes, high capacity fuel tanks, the list
is endless. There are simply no limits to where you can
go or what you can do with an Aftershock! |
