The Team Losi LST2 is just about the last word in the world of
gas guzzling monster trucks. With its immense power, multi-ratio
twin-speed transmission with forward and reverse gears, twin steering
servos and mammoth suspension and tyres there really is nothing
out there to touch it!
While this is all fantastic, it’s not exactly compact; that is
to say you really do need a fair bit of room to let it have its
head and show what it can do.
Wouldn’t it be cool if you could have that kind of vehicle without
having to worry about the noise, smoke and lack of open space,
hm mmm…………well good old Losi have come up trumps again!
The all-new Mini LST2 is directly modelled on its award winning
much bigger brother and carries over many of its features.
The whole chassis and suspension package has simple been shrunk
down to 1/18th scale, but still offers the same range of travel
and ride height options. The shock absorbers are again scaled down
versions of the ‘Mega’ shocks on the 1/8th scale version. Blue
anodised oil filled aluminium bodied with threaded ride height
adjusters, they soak up the potholes as well as they look! Twin
Frenzy 370 electric motors ensure that the power to weight ratio
is maintained. This power is evenly distributed to the three differentials
with newly designed solid metal ring and pinion gears now fitted
from the factory!
Another massive advance for the Mini LST is the inclusion of genuine
DSM 2.4 technology in the Team Losi radio. This innovative radio
system allows you to run your Mini-LST2 with other vehicles anywhere,
anytime, without worrying about interference. Once the handset
has been bound to the onboard receiver all of your frequency clash
worries are over!
Best of all these are all stand alone units with standard three
wire fitment so can be used for other ap plications if you so wish.
Mini Zombie-Max tyres and chrome dished wheels, complete ball bearing
set, 1100mah battery fitted as standard and a custom painted shell
in either red, blue or grey…….it may be Mini in name, but certainly
not in specification!
