Using these computer cut masks you can do real pro paint jobs easily. They take all of the hard work out of masking up a bodyshell with some of these complex designs used by professional bodyshell painters.
Some of the broader patterns can be lifted straight off the backing sheet and positioned on the bodyshell, but some of the more complicated or fine designs need the use of transfer tape (10819). Just weed out the unwanted part of masking then lay the transfer tape on the masking left and rub it down firmly. Cut roughly around the masking you want to use then carefully lift the transfer tape, along with the masking off the backing sheet. Lay it down in position on the bodyshell, rub down firmly again and carefully remove the transfer tape leaving the masking in place on the shell.
If you want to create your own designs part number 10799 is an uncut sheet of masking ready for you to cut out.
