The chrome can be backed with a colour but this will interfere with and reduce the chrome effect, so it is best applied last on a paint job with no other colour applied to the back of it. Two to three coats will give the maximum chrome effect, extra coats applied after will change the chrome into an aluminium finish. So then, two finishes in one can!

This is not a white paint but a white pearlescent suspended in a clear carrier coat. Used in conjunction with a colour the pearl is applied first and then backed with the colour. It gives a ‘glittery’ effect with dark colours such as black but can lighten the overall effect of mid colours such as yellow. Works well with white.

Screen Tint is an ideal finishing touch for any paint job and has the added bonus of hiding all the electronics inside the car. Spray it on so that it just looks wet, a couple of coats should be enough.
