So what’s all this then? If you check out our ‘about us’ page you’ll see the last paragraph says it all. We’ve gradually aligned the company more and more closely to our parent company Horizon Hobby. On the face of it nothing really changes, same old faces, same old business, same old everything. Horizon have always recognised the importance of the UK model industry which is why Helger became part of the Horizon group of companies over two years ago, and now the time is right for us complete the transition to Horizon Hobby UK in name as well as in practice. We’re still in the same place; same phone numbers, fax numbers etc.etc. but we now have a brand new name. After close on twenty years of being Helger it’s going to keep us on our toes remembering this new name but there are many in the industry who already know and respect Horizon Hobby in the U.S.A. Their dedication and commitment to providing what must be considered as some of the best brands in the RC world for the hobbyist is admirable, and the newly launched Horizon Hobby UK will continue in good old Helger fashion but with Horizon Hobby’s goals and aspirations.
