The potent brushless electric motor and programmable electronic speed control takes the FASTech to lightening fast speeds without hesitation. The offset rudder and adjustable propeller strut allow precise handling in a variety of water conditions, and the magnetic hatch allows quick access to electrical components when you need it. Changing batteries and accessing the running gear is quick and easy with the magnetic hatch requiring no bolting or gluing. The radio equipment is protected in a waterproof radio compartment, keeping electronic components high and dry for safe operation.

FASTech BL features a fixed offset rudder configuration that compensates for the intense torque of the brushless power system and offers precise handling in all conditions. The propeller strut and trim tabs can be easily adjusted to match wave conditions.

Technical Notes

Due to the high current rates associated with brushless electric boats, ProBoat recommends using batteries with an ability to discharge at a minimum of 25 amps (25C). The DYN5360D (LiPo) or PRB3313 or PRB3314 (NiMH) are good choices with matched cells and quality chemistries.

Lower quality batteries cannot maintain a high enough average voltage to keep the electronic speed control from entering the low voltage cutoff mode. This safety feature protects the batteries and esc from damage.
